The premium and sleek design of the Nokia E52 is what gives it a very good look. The best part of the Nokia E52 is that you can get nearly 8 hours of talk time on the phone, which is not something that you often get in a modern – day phone. The phone is extremely slim at a mere 9.9 mm, making it irresistible for those who fall in love with phones on the basis of looks!

This sleek phone weighs in at a mere 98 grams and is much lighter than other phones of the same caliber. Another highlight of the phone is the e-mail functionality. Nokia Messaging is what will assist you in setting up your email. In addition to Nokia Messaging, there are some other e-mail apps as well in the form of IBM Lotus notes Traveller and Mail for Exchange. The noise cancellation feature is also included in the phone in order to ensure that the person on the other end of the line will be able to hear you clearly. There are many phones being launched by Nokia this year. Out of all these phones, the Nokia E52is one of the few phones targeted solely for business users. The phone will meet the demand for anyone looking for a professional looking solid phone that will have all the office applications that they are looking for. The Nokia E52 allows 3G connectivity which means that the user can download any files off the internet easily. The Nokia E52will feature in the mid to high price range of the price spectrum.
The Nokia E52 was released earlier this year. It is quite thin as it has a thickness of only 9.9 mm. this thickness along with the fact that the phone weighs in at only 98 g means that the phone is very pocket friendly. The Nokia E52 has a TFT display that measures 2.4 inches diagonally and can display up to 16 million colors at a 240 x 320 resolution. This screen also has an accelerometer sensor.
The Nokia E52 has a 3.5 mm jack which is a big advantage as if you want to listen to music on the phone, you can do so by using your favorite pair of headphones. The Nokia E52 has an onboard memory of 60 MB which can be expanded up to 16 GB. You do this using the microSD memory card slot. A total memory of over 16 GB allows you to store all your favorite media on the phone. The Nokia E52 also has impressive connectivity options with class 32 GPRS, HSCSD, class 32 EDGE and Wi-Fi. Short range data transfer is easy using the Bluetooth with A2DP and the USB port.

The biggest advantage of the Nokia E52 is the top – quality email functionality. The ‘Nokia Messaging’ application makes it extremely easy to set – up email on this phone. In addition to Nokia Messaging, you also have other similar applications such as Mail for Exchange and IBM Lotus Notes Traveller, making the phone really competent. The Noise Cancellation feature is present on the Nokia E52 in order to make your voice clear to the person on the other end. It does this by cancelling out the background noise. This feature effectively gives you the freedom to talk wherever you are.
In addition to these features, the Nokia E52 also has A-GPS, a 3.2 megapixel camera, fast HSDPA and HSUPA connectivity and plenty more. Along with the A-GPS and Nokia Maps functions, the Nokia E52 also has an in-built compass.
The Mobile VPN, which has been incorporated in this phone, gives you quick and efficient access to the intranet networks present in your office. The E52 also has the Call Connect feature which enables you to connect your phone with the corporate telephone system present. This will bring down the level of call routing as just one contact number is need to communicate with the user.
The Nokia E52’s retail package comes with a 1GB microSD card. The phone comes with a 60 day trial version of the application ‘Files on Ovi’. This phone will be released in 2 colour schemes – golden aluminium and metal grey. The Nokia E52 has a 2.4 inch QVGA screen which has the capability to display upto 16 million colours.
The Nokia E52 is set to be released in the 3rd quarter of this year.
