XPERIA2_03The Sony Ericsson XPERIA X2 is one of the most eagerly anticipated mobile phones in the market. It had become one of the most eagerly awaited phones ever since photos of the phone got leaked onto the internet earlier this year. Ever since these phones came out, ever mobile phone addict has been itching to get a detailed picture of the phone and here it is.

The Sony Ericsson XPERIA X2 has some really awesome features and a lot of these features are some of the best that are present in the industry. The Sony Ericsson XPERIA X2 is unique in 2 aspects: one, it is the only Windows Mobile Phone to come with a 8 megapixel camera with WVGA recording. The phone is also unique in the sense that it is the only 8 megapixel camera phone to have a full QWERTY keyboard.

The phone is capable of running on any GSM and 3G networks. There are a number of connectivity options which include Class 10 EDGE, 7.2 Mbps HSDPA and 2 Mbps HSUPA. The phone has a slide – and – tile QWERTY form factor and utilizes a touchscreen for the majority of its operations. The phone is not super slim at 16 mm, but is not so bad considering that it has a full QWERTY keyboard as well. However, the phone is a tad heavy at 155 grams and might get a bit uncomfortable in your pocket!

The phone has a 3.2 inch TFT resistive touchscreen which has a resolution of 800×480 pixels, enabling you to view pictures and videos with the highest precision. The CPU makes use of the Qualcomm MSM 7200 528 MHz processor and runs on the Windows Mobile 6.5 Professional platform. The phone has an internal memory capacity of 110 MB and can be supplemented by a further 32 GB of memory by using the microSD memory card slot. The phone has a RAM of 256 MB.

If you were thinking of getting the Sony Ericsson Xperia X2 then it might be advisable to shop around a bit first. Moby1 is a good place to start as they compare many deals at the click of a button, which is much easier than trawling around retailers yourself trying to catch the best offer.
