Nokia Booklet 3GWhen you think of market – domination, you would be a perfectly normal person to think Nokia. We have gradually seen Nokia dominate all segments of the mobile phone market with awesome phones and now they have decided to venture into uncharted territory. Yes, it’s the netbook market. Though you don’t often see us reviewing netbooks or laptops or the likes, when you consider the fact that it’s made by Nokia, we couldn’t help but get a bit excited by it, so lets see whether all the debates in Nokia Conversations and the Nokia Booklet 3G Reviews are actually right in being positive about it.

Some of the more inhospitable people would like to call the Nokia Booklet 3G a fancy netbook when you consider the fact that it has a 10.1 inch screen in addition to an Atom processor. However, it must be said here that the resolution of the LCD screen is much better than what you generally find in netbooks. Another major highlight of this netbook when compared to the other netbooks out there is the support for integrated 3G wireless. You can also use your data SIM with the netbook, avoiding the need to carry around a USB dongle.

The netbook runs on the Microsoft Windows 7, which is quite strange as most other netbooks haven’t migrated to this OS yet. The netbook will also come with the latest version of Nokia Ovi Maps pre-installed as well as an A-GPS receiver.

Video output is amazing with the HDMI port. The netbook, according to Nokia, can last for 12 hours, which is quite amazing, but you must note that this is only for normal usage and not when you use it as a download – hub or as your personal music player. Wi-Fi connectivity is also present in the netbook, as is Bluetooth connectivity.

You should be able to get the netbook for £520 retail or for less on Nokia Booklet 3G contracts with mobile service providers.
