inq-miniFor the Budget Social Network Fan

INQ has just recently rolled-out its new mobile phone that should appeal to the budget-conscious among social network fans out there.   Coming up after its multi-awarded INQ1, the new INQ Mini 3G takes on the challenge of putting together all the features that matter to most people at a most pocket-friendly price.  The Mini 3G doesn’t disappoint here. Following its official launch this month, the internet got busy with a slew of unofficial hands-on reviews.  Here’s what they say about it.

Great Value for Everyone

Admittedly, there are obvious feature cost cuts.  For one, there’s no WiFi or GPS features.  There’s no separate earphone jack.  Its lone USB port will need a USB-to-3.5mm adapter for that.  There’s hardly any internal memory a user can use.  But you can have 16GB from a microSD card.  But positioned as a very competent social networking mobile phone, the Mini 3G gets the job done with built-in apps that integrate tightly with Facebook, Skype and Windows Live over high speed connection.  The new INQ Mini 3G adds in Twitter. It can also synchronize with your desktop media files and iTunes courtesy of a feature called doubleTwist.  Not bad for a budget mobile phone.

From its name, the handset supports 3G as well as HSDPA so you can browse and download in a snap. 3G tethering from your desktop comes standard.  While its 2.2” QVGA display and 2-megapixel camera is so-so, the Mini 3G takes on a more trendy market that loves to customize their mobile phones with interchangeable body covers.  The INQ Mini 3G won’t disappoint here as it has after-market covers in various designs and colors.  In fact, there’s nothing to be disappointed with the Mini 3G at all.  See it in stores during the last quarter of the year.
