BlackBerry Curve 8520 RIM is set to release their latest creation in the form of the Blackberry Curve 8520. Also known as the Blackberry Curve 8520 Wi-Fi Mobile phone, it is set to be made available on Vodafone UK contracts for free. Blackberry is what every businessperson would like to have and has a 2 megapixel camera, some really good mailing features, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 256 MB of internal memory, web browsing and GPRS.

The Blackberry Curve 8520 is a great blend of features and style. The 8520 has the touch sensitive optical trackball on this awesome handset and is a media friendly phone, hinting at a possible change of direction by Blackberry. On the top of the phone is situated the 3.5 mm headset jack as well as the dedicated music keys. It is quite a pity that there is no 3G. However, there are rumours stating that the battery life of the phone has been increased due to the lack of 3G.

Blackberry App World, which is the applications website exclusively made available for Blackberries by RIM, is the best feature on this phone. The battery life of the Blackberry Curve 8520 is quite good and has talk time of upto 4.5 hours and 17 days of standby time. The microSD memory card slot is also available in the phone to increase the memory capacity of the phone to a maximum of 16 GB. The full-QWERTY keyboard of the phone is extremely convenient and very easy to use. The phone is a very good mid – range smartphone presented by Blackberry. The phone also has a 512 MHz processor and is able to maintain a maximum of 10 email accounts in addition to the BB’s Enterprise server support

Therefore, it is no wonder that the quadband phone was noted as a ‘priceless business phone at a very reasonable price’.
